We are currently working through the submissions that were received on our the Renewable Energy Infrastructure Licence (REIL) application for the Whyte Yarcowie Wind Farm.

The REIL application has been prepared under the Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Act 2023 to assess the environmental impacts of the proposed project, and the statement of environmental objectives (SEO) provides transparency about the licensee’s required environmental performance.

Following the project’s response to the community and government agency submissions, the Minister for Energy will decide whether to grant the project a Licence, as well as any conditions which apply to the granting of a Licence.

 

Updated project details, and our responses to submissions will be provided in June/July 2026.

Community information sessions are currently being planned and will take place in the coming months. Invitations will be posted to our project neighbours and those on our mailing list, event details will also be available on our website in the coming weeks.
